ilver Crescent Foundation is committed to promoting manufacturing vitality and career opportunities in South Carolina.  We accomplish this through a number of programs designed to get people of all ages, backgrounds and educational experience to "Discover Manufacturing".

By investigating the benefits manufacturing brings to our daily lives and encouraging young people to pursue their studies so they may become the manufacturing leaders of tomorrow, the Foundation is building the workforce pipeline our state needs to remain competitive.

The Foundation collaborates with other nonprofit organizations, business leaders, institutions of higher learning and public school systems to help the next generation of young people understand the fundamental connections between engineering innovation, technology vitality and our high standard of living.

The Silver Crescent Foundation has developed several initiatives that form a conduit between the successful businesses of today and the leaders of tomorrow. Programs like Camp Success, the Salute to Manufacturing, Technology Champions and the Discover Manufacturing Design Challenge not only support workforce development, but also recognize our state’s manufacturing companies that demonstrate the ability to positively impact employees, local communities and the state while achieving excellence within their industry.
