Silver Crescent Award Nominations Now Being Accepted
The Silver Crescent Foundation and South Carolina Chamber of Commerce are pleased to announce the nominations process for the Silver Crescent Manufacturer of the Year award is now open, and manufacturers may access information on the award criteria and nomination process on the Chamber’s web site – www.scchamber.net. The deadline for entries is Friday, June 11, 2010, at 5:00 pm. Download the application here.
The state’s top small, medium and large manufacturing companies will be recognized for their manufacturing excellence, economic impact, commitment to workforce development and community stewardship during the Salute to Manufacturing awards luncheon, scheduled for Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Columbia. Once again produced by the Silver Crescent Foundation and the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, this year's Salute will recognize the Silver Crescent Manufacturer of the Year Awards at the annual awards luncheon. In addition, there will be an educational forum for manufacturers in the morning and a pre-lunch reception honoring all past award recipients. Both organizations are currently recruiting sponsors and more information can be found on the Silver Crescent web site or contact Sharon Halsey for details.
